By combining Allebike’s expertise in bike development and engineering with Aston Harald Composite’s competence in advanced carbon fiber manufacturing, a joint testing and development initiative is now underway, based in Alingsås and Gothenburg. Allebike, which already manufactures parts of its product range in Portugal, is now also investigating the potential for producing carbon fiber frames in Sweden.
“This is an exploratory journey,” says Alexander Blomqvist, Head of Development at Allebike. “We are curious to see what can be achieved when two strong organizations with substantial expertise come together in a shared project. We are at an early stage in a process that involves both challenges and learning, but the potential to develop something truly distinctive – designed and manufactured in Sweden – is compelling enough that we feel it is essential to explore.”
“This project is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate what we can achieve when we apply our full range of capabilities – from concept development to series production – and do so here in Sweden,” says Jens Allroth, CEO of Aston Harald Composite.
“Building a bike is a complex challenge that suits us perfectly. We look forward to exploring how far we can push development together with Allebike, and to creating something that is both technically advanced at the very forefront and genuinely Swedish,” Allroth concludes.
