One half of the twin duo 2xNilsson, Elinore enters her second junior season with an impressive year already behind her. A third-place finish at Cykelvasan at just 16 years of age, Swedish Championship titles in both XCC and XCO, and a European Championship bronze in XCC all point to a rider who has already established herself at a high level – nationally and beyond.

Behind the results is a cyclist with a constant smile and a contagious love for the sport. With a positive mindset, strong determination, and a clear ability to push beyond what first feels possible, Elinore takes on every challenge with the belief that there is always another step to take – often with a smile along the way.

If your bike had a name – what would it be?

Rocket!

What’s the very first thing you do right after crossing the finish line?

I go straight to my mom – she usually has an ice-cold Coke waiting.

Which trail or course lives rent free in your head?

Övre Högshult – a great course in the neighboring village back home.

If you could choose – which song would play at every start line?

Sandstorm. I used to go to motocross races with my dad when I was younger, and it was always playing. Hearing it still brings back that feeling.

What do you always carry in your back pocket on long rides?

My phone – mostly to snap a nice photo during the ride for Instagram.

What’s the most unexpected thing on your bucket list?

Going for a ride with the King!

Coffee stop or ice cream break?

Ice cream

Any pre-race rituals or superstitions?

I always paint my nails pink the day before. And right before the start, I have a sour candy – something I’ve done ever since I was little.

Morning training or evening ride?

Morning training.

What makes a “perfect day” on the bike for you?

Warm weather, fast trails, and good speed. That’s when cycling is at its best for me.

One fun fact about you that has nothing to do with cycling?

Linnea and I used to play the tuba.
