When the opening round of the Junior World XCO Series - the highest international level of junior racing - unfolded in Chelva, Spain, Elinore and Linnea Nilsson delivered a season debut that made an immediate impact.
In their season debut as second-year juniors, they immediately showed they are contenders at this level. Elinore Nilsson powered to a strong second place, finishing just 26 seconds behind race winner Freya Mowbray (GBR).
Close behind, Linnea Nilsson secured fourth place, earning an official podium finish as part of the top five. A powerful start to the season and a clear statement of intent.
The Junior World XCO Series continues already next weekend in Banyoles, Spain.
