Anton Unger enters his second year in the U23 category with valuable experience behind him. A strong junior career with international results - highlighted by a third-place finish in the Junior World Series in Nové Mesto - has laid a solid foundation. His step up has been defined by patience and a clear focus on building experience and establishing himself at the next level.

Anton’s riding is characterized by calmness and tactical awareness. His technical skill and methodical approach make him particularly strong on demanding courses where precision is key.

I turn off my bike computer and grab something cold to drink.

What do you always carry in your back pocket on long rides?
My phone and some energy.
What’s the most unexpected thing on your bucket list?
Doing a backflip on a snowmobile in deep mountain snow.

Any pre-race rituals or superstitions?
Nope - I just race.

Morning training.
What makes a “perfect day” on the bike for you?
Good weather and great flow on the bike.
One fun fact about you that has nothing to do with cycling?

I’ve won a Swedish Championship medal in cross-country skiing!
