An initiative for children and youth in collaboration with Insamlingsstiftelsen for Drottning Silvia Children's Hospital.

28 well-known and lesser-known, but all colorful, characters who have already contributed 250,000 SEK to the foundation Insamlingsstiftelsen för Drottning Silvia Children's Hospital are starting their 3-day bicycle journey between Gothenburg and Copenhagen under the name Hjortviken Cycle Raise. The goal is to increase awareness and raise additional funds for the benefit of children and young people in need through cycling.

Some of the participants in the cycling challenge are Ola Serneke, Joel Lundqvist, Loui Eriksson, Palle Stenberg and Nudie Jeans, as well as Albin Johansson, founder of Axel Arigato. The initiator of the fundraising is Calle Lundgren and ESS-Group.

The fundraising took off from Jacy'z in Gothenburg on Sunday, June 16, but the project is long-term. Hjortviken Cycle Raise will cycle around the country, offer themselves as soon as there is an opportunity, and thereby create awareness and at the same time raise money for the Queen Silvia Children's Hospital Foundation Insamlingsstiftelsen. In their turn, they work to create joy for the children and families who struggle in their daily lives at Sweden's largest children's hospital. When children and young people are affected by illness, environments, experiences and activities are needed that encourage play and laughter, a situation that provides comfort and hope. Therefore, the foundation collects funds for measures that complement the hospital's regular care.
